MILOLO opens flagship store at Ombak KLCC with Bella's Blind Box

MILOLO Berhad opened its first premium concept store at Ombak KLCC on Sunday, 27 September 2026. The same event launched Bella's Blind Box, a celebrity collectible series developed with singer and actress Bella Astillah.

The mall lists the shop at lots L3-17 and L3-18, open 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM daily. Official categories are Gifts & Stationery and Kids, Toys & Hobbies. Oriental Daily reported the opening takes the chain to 11 stores nationwide. The two lots sit on Level 3, a short walk from the Pokémon Center and Nintendo pop-ups at L3-15, which run through 31 December 2026.

A two-lot shop on Level 3

Founder Datuk Millan Lee told MAXIT the company picked Ombak KLCC for visibility in the KLCC precinct, in the middle of Kuala Lumpur's central business district. He described regular MILOLO outlets as convenience shops. The Ombak store is meant as a destination. Visitors can look at original IP, meet characters, and join activities. Buying a box is one part of the visit.

Lee also said the format could become a model for later flagship shops in Malaysia and overseas. The company is shifting from selling third-party collectibles toward what it calls a creative retailtainment business, with its own IP and a way to sell that IP.

The official tenant page on ombakklcc.com.my already framed MILOLO as a Malaysia-based designer-toy and blind-box brand. It curates limited-edition figures, exclusive drops, and local IP. The same page notes a Malaysia Book of Records blind-box unboxing that drew 300 participants, and earlier expansion including Central i-City. The Ombak opening is the first time the brand has used a two-lot flagship on this mall's third floor.

What Bella's Blind Box actually is

MAXIT described Bella's Blind Box as one of Malaysia's first celebrity blind-box collectibles. Lee called the launch a step in expanding MILOLO's IP list. The plan is to turn Malaysian entertainers, artists, creators, and influencers into collectable characters, each with a visual identity, a story, and a product range.

Bella Astillah spoke at the Sunday event. She said the idea of becoming a collectable character felt fun when she first heard it, and that seeing the finished box made it more special. She described the line as a playful, creative side she can share with fans, and said she was glad the partner is a Malaysian brand.

The launch included collector activities and a photo session for fans. Individual box prices were not published in the mall listing or in the 28 September MAXIT report. Ask at the counter, or check MILOLO's own channels, before you budget a specific drop.

Tourism Malaysia chairman Datuk Manoharan Periasamy attended, as did Malaysia Retail Chain Association president Dato' Liew Bin. eNanyang quoted Manoharan tying the project to Visit Malaysia 2026-2027, with toys that draw on Malaysian culture and food. Other names on the stage photo, as listed by MAXIT, were Datin Michelle Liew, MILOLO's director and head of marketing, independent director Keith Chong, and guest Jeff Chin.

Same floor as the Pokémon pop-up

Level 3 at Ombak is already a collector floor. The Pokémon Center pop-up at L3-15 and the Nintendo pop-up next to it opened 12 September and stay through 31 December. A Pikachu Shop & Redeem and a photo booth campaign also run into year-end. MILOLO is a permanent tenant. If you are already in the building for a Pokémon ticket, the two-lot shop is on the same level, with no extra ticket window.

Ombak KLCC opened to the public on 21 August 2026. Occupancy was still filling through September. A local toy flagship on L3 is a useful marker of which lots are trading versus still empty.

Persiaran KLCC MRT station on the Putrajaya Line sits across from the mall. Walk through KLCC Park, or use the precinct links from Suria KLCC. The shop follows the mall clock, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM every day, including hours when Galeri PETRONAS on other floors is already closed.
