Eonyang Chicken Noodle Soup Opens on Ombak KLCC Level 3

Eonyang Chicken Noodle Soup is trading on Level 3 of Ombak KLCC. The mall posted it on Instagram on 31 August 2026: handmade noodles and dumplings, Korean paper-craft lanterns, and a painting made for this outlet. The directory lot is L3-01, on the same floor as the Nintendo pop-up that opens 12 September. If you want a bowl before that floor fills with merch queues, this week is the quiet one.

Kalguksu, not another mall ramen

Eonyang is a Korean chicken noodle soup, kalguksu style: knife-cut wheat noodles in a chicken broth, typically with a generous piece of chicken, kimchi on the side, and often perilla in the stock. The Korea original in Eonyang-eup, Ulsan, is known for half a chicken in the bowl and a very spicy cabbage kimchi. The Ombak post does not reprint a KL menu or prices. It does say noodles and dumplings are made in-house. That is the detail that matters if you are comparing it with Nak Nak or Minamo one floor away.

TheSmartLocal's 21 August directory already had Eonyang on the food list, in the same table as Donkai and Zaitoun, which were still "open soon." kualalumpurcity.my flagged it as a lunch bowl rather than a heavy dinner. Neither page had a lot number. The mall's Level 3 line and the L3-01 listing fill that gap.

Level 3 is about to get loud

L3-01 sits on the floor with JomAmigo Steamboat at L3-06, Milolo at L3-17 and L3-18, KPIX Studio, Samsung, Xiaomi, and the Nintendo units at L3-11 and L3-16. On 21 August the Nintendo door was still stanchioned. From 12 September that corridor is Malaysia's first official Nintendo and Pokémon Center pop-up, through 31 December. Lunch at Eonyang on a weekday before the 12th is a different trip from lunch the weekend PokéXciting! is in KLCC Park.

The mall post spent more words on the lanterns and the outlet painting than on the broth. That is useful in its own way. You are not walking into a food-court stall with fluorescent tubes. You are walking into a Korean room the operator wanted photographed. Whether the soup matches Ulsan is a question only a bowl answers. The post at least tells you they are rolling dough on site.

How to eat it in this building

Mall hours are 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Korean noodle shops often open closer to 11:00 AM. Confirm on the door. Persiaran KLCC MRT (PY21) drops you underground into the concourse. Take the escalators to Level 3 rather than hunting the rooftop first. If you are driving, Ombak's basement is about 450 bays over four levels. Rates were still unpublished at opening. Check the gantry.

Pairing is obvious: soup on L3, then Galeri PETRONAS on the ground floor if you arrive before 5:30 PM, or Offset at G-08 to G-10 if you want prints. Galeri is closed Mondays. Eonyang is not. A Monday noodle lunch is one of the few things in this mall that does not collide with a gallery lock.

Prices were not on the 31 August post. Do not invent them. Ask at L3-01. If the Ulsan original is a guide, the bowl is meant to be shared or to fill one person without a second dish. Dumplings are the extra order if you are two.
